Allison reminded me today of New Cannan Connecticut.
A place I used to visit often with the girls I nannied for [Annie & Emily] + their cute grandma lives there. We would go up to New Cannan a couple times
a year to visit her.  Here we are one summer night
hanging out in the sewing room!  How neat is that wall paper behind us?
I have some pretty awesome memories of my time in New York.
The majority of them consist of being with Annie & Emily. :)
I was pretty lucky!

My mom and her family lived in New Canaan for a while when she was a kid. Small world. :) Btw - I love that wallpaper!

No, I've never been there that I know of. But I love Connecticut. My grandparents lived in Ridgefield when I was a kid in a converted carriage house in the woods with wild berry patches and a pond nearby. It was such a great place to visit. Then my aunt lived in Westport for several years not too long ago. A really charming town, too.
